The Waimate-born star and Australasia’s most streamed female country artist, Kaylee Bell, has been recently announced as part of the off-track entertainment program that will run alongside the highly-anticipated inaugural ITM Taupō Super400 event. She will join one of New Zealand’s biggest bands, Six60, on the opening day performance on Friday, April 19.
Kaylee Bell, who has had over 14 million streams on Spotify, first rose to prominence after winning the 2013 Australian Country Music Award. Ten years later, she’s a country music sensation. She won the 2023 Global Country Artist Award at the Country Music Association Award. She also bagged the ARIA Gold Record, becoming the first female Australasian country artist to earn it in 20 years and the first independent female country artist to claim it. Recently, she opened for Ed Sheeran’s Mathematic Stadium Tour and dropped her third studio album, Nights Like This, featuring her hit single “Boots ‘N All.”
And she’s showing no signs of slowing down – just like a supercar.
